Beginner Watercolor: Bookmarks
Learn and practice beginner watercolor techniques while playing with the shape of your paper! You'll leave with laminated bookmarks with your choice of fun ribbons.
Beginners welcome, no experience needed!

Felted Pumpkins with Merciful Hearts Farm
This is a fun introductory needle felting class for all skill levels. We will begin by learning basic techniques as we create a 2D bookmark. We’ll move on to 3D with a handful of adorable pumpkins that you can customize as you’d like.
Deb, of Merciful Hearts Farm, is a local sheep farmer who has visited schools as artist in residence for over 20 years. She currently teaches Handicrafts at a local classical school. Her husband is a sheep shearer. Not only can she teach all ages, she comes to her art as a farmer with a heart for her precious animals. She is known for the farm stories she tells as students spend time at their projects. She has taught her daughter-in-law, Erin, to felt, dye & spin. Erin has a degree in art & a wonderful eye for color & form. Erin will be teaching your session as well.
Embroidered Photo Frame Workshop
Learn some embroidery basics and create your own felt photo frame, perfect for turning into a holiday ornament or refrigerator magnet. All materials will be provided and no sewing experience is necessary!

Modern Textile Art - "Painting" With Fabric with Leslie Ann Studios
A no-sew fiber art workshop inspired by traditional Japanese textile art.
What if you could paint a picture without using paint? In this unique fiber art workshop, you'll use colorful quilting fabrics as your medium to create an original piece of textile artwork.
Inspired by traditional Japanese textile techniques and reimagined with contemporary designs, this hands-on art experience will guide you through cutting, layering, and arranging fabric to create your own 11″ × 11″ textile artwork.
No sewing or art experience necessary! Some fine-motor dexterity is helpful.All supplies are included. You'll leave with your own 11”x11” one-of-a-kind piece of fiber art to display in your home. (Can be framed or displayed propped on a shelf, mantel, or other surface.)

Leslie Bussey has more than 20 years of teaching experience with both children and adults in a variety of settings and formats. She is a former elementary school teacher and technology specialist, and has taught in traditional classrooms, virtual classrooms, online ESL programs, private art lessons, and hands-on creative settings. Her experience working with a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning styles has taught her how to make instruction approachable, engaging, and enjoyable.
She has explored many forms of art throughout the years, including painting, pastels, sewing, quilting, and other fiber and mixed-media techniques. She has taken numerous art classes and workshops, taught private art lessons to children, and has sold my artwork locally. My artwork has also been recognized with a ribbon at the state fair for a pastel painting.

Learn how to mix, blend, and use watercolor paints to create your very own Fall doorway scene. Our talented Suzanne will guide you through short watercolor studies, exploring techniques and compositions. During this class, you will be provided with all materials to create your own 8x10 painting.

Tulip Design Co Demo & Sydney Creates Pop Up
Stop in to meet artists Jennifer Tucker of Tulip Design Co, and Sydney Caldwell of Sydney Creates. Jennifer will be painting throughout the day to wrap up her weeklong holiday pop up of stationery and paper goods. Sydney will have paintings and prints available for purchase that are brand new for the holidays.

Wildflower Watercolor Class
Come learn how to paint your own wildflower landscape using watercolor paints. This class is taught step by step. Watercolor and/or painting experience is helpful, but absolutely not required. You will leave with a finished piece of art, and the option to have it professionally matted will be available for an additional cost.
Cost is $40 per participant. Your painting will be 8 x 10”. If you wish for it to be matted, a 9 x 12” acid free mat can be bought for an additional $10.

Mini Watercolor Make & Take
Stop in during our open hours to paint a 4 x 4" flower using watercolor paints. Step by step, self-guided instructions will be provided, as well as all materials to complete your painting.

Frame Factor
Our favorite framing event is back!
Drop off one or two small pieces between June 19th and 21st to be framed as a complete surprise! We’ll ask you a few questions about your style preferences and you leave the framing to us!
A great opportunity to start planning for gifts or framing those special tiny pieces you’ve been holding onto.
All pieces must fit within a 6.5”x6.5” square and be less than 1/2” thick.
$45/piece for 2D pieces
$65/piece for 3D pieces
Framing turnaround time will be approximately 3-8 weeks.
